FHCC update as of July 20

With the area moving into Stage 3, the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre is affected as follows:

Sportsfields (ball diamonds and soccer fields) can continue to be used for casual play.

Ball and soccer leagues are also allowed now to start playing scheduled games if they limit their players in their league to 50 total. Rental time must be booked through the FHCA.

The tennis courts (on the outdoor rink) can continued to be used on a drop in basis.

The playground is now opened.

As per provincial guidelines, no more than 100 people can gather on the Community Centre grounds at any one time, and non-family groups must stay socially distanced.

The community hall building will remain closed for the time being.

2020 Minor Softball Cancelled

Fitzroy Harbour Softball is for children born from 2001 to 2015. More information at Register online here – those that register by March 31 will have a spot guaranteed! For more information contact

Update as of April 8: Given the City closure of facilities until June 30, unfortunately the 2020 season for minor softball is cancelled.

Outdoor rink CLOSED for the season (as of March 3)

We were open for 64 days of skating this year.

New floor in the hall

There renovations at the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre are complete. The new floor looks great! Thanks for the City of Ottawa for funding this project.

2020 Annual General Meeting – POSTPONED

The meeting will be rescheduled as the Hall is closed to public access during this time.

The FHCA Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Thursday March 26 at 7 p.m. at the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre. All members of the community are welcome to attend and hear about the 2019 successes and plans for the upcoming year.

Dart night starts September 20

Darts will be cancelled until at least April 3 due to the Hall closure.

Fitzroy Harbour Friday Pub Dart nights start back up at the Community Centre on September 20 at 8 p.m.  501 Darts tournament style with weekly prizes. $5 to play. For further information contact Laurie at
